I found an article (with a video on how to wear the armour) for the new “Dressed to Kill” exhibit of the armour of Henry VIII. The exhibit is being shown at the Tower of London (which I am heading to next week!!!!!). If I can get some pics I will post them. Otherwise, you can see a pic of one suit of armor here on Henry VIII’s bio page.
Here is a link to the article. The video is worth a watch.
Here is another article on the exhibit discussing Henry VIII’s contribution to armoury works.

With Gordon Brown’s proposal for equal succession rights, one writer purposes an interesting thought: What if this had happened a long time ago? One possible queen he suggests is Henry VIII’s elder sister Margaret who eventually became queen of Scotland and whose descendant was Mary Queen of Scots.
Here is the link. It is an interesting read.

I have found another article on the British Library’s 500th Anniversary exhibit on Henry VIII. According to the article, the new British Library exhibition, Man and Monarch “is a quest for the real Henry.” The article seems to focus far more on Henry the person as king rather than as tyrant.

I posted this on the Media Discussion Boards, but thought I should post it here also. The famous department story Macy’s is featuring a window display inspired by “The Tudors.” If anyone gets any pics, I would love to see them! The display is suppose to go up this week, so you New Yorkers keep your eyes open!
Here is the link to the article for more info.

I found an article on Henry VIII today, written by Joanna Bogle. Though she takes some of the old fashioned approaches to Henry VIII, I thought it was an interesting read.
Here is the link for those who want to read it.
